How it all works!

Crocodile Encounter has been offering, with tremendous demand, the opportunity for families to come to our facility and experience the crocodiles and wildlife maintained at our nationally recognized crocodilian center. Our goal is to give you and your family a unique, educational, wildlife experience. Crocodile Encounter is at our core an educational organization. We want you to appreciate and understand wildlife and the role all species play in keeping our world wonderful for us and our children. Online reservations are recommended to ensure your spot on a given tour. Please click the 'Book your Tour' button to be taken to our online booking calendar. Then you just arrive by the tour time and you are all set. If you arrive without a reservation and the tour is full it may not be possible to enter the facility. We look forward to your visit and creating lasting memories for your family.

1. You will be on our manifest when you book online. You just need an ID to enter the facility.

2. No outside produce is permitted inside Crocodile Encounter. This is a change from our past policy and due to new USDA regulations we have to know the origin of the food products given to our animals and as such outside animal food is not permitted. We do have food for purchase in the gift shop for you to enjoy your experience.

3. Upon arrival to the facility you will enter the gift shop for check in and get some brief introductory information prior to your tour.

Your tour will last between 1:15-1:45 minutes depending on the animals behavior and schedule for that day as well as your interactions with your guide. On occasion tours may exceed two hours but we typically try to maintain a a 1:15- 1:30 minute pace. You will not forget this experience. Awesome animals, great guides, small crowds. A wildlife event you will want to do over and over.
