GUIDED OR SELF GUIDED TOUR?
The current and accurate hour/tour schedule is the one on this page. The best way to enjoy the experience is with a guided tour. It has the maximum animal activity and allows you all access to the various parts of Crocodile Encounter. The self guided is great for young children who may just want to see the crocs and other animals but for all other guests the guided tour is the best option. We price our tour so that it’s only a few more dollars than general entry and is a great value for the experience.
WILL I GET TO SEE ALL THE ANIMALS?
We plan the majority of our events for maximum animal activity. The tour times change seasonally as the animal’s activity changes during the year. Each time of year offers a unique perspective and has advantages/disadvantages. The months of May-early November offer the maximum feeding responses for your visit but are warmer for people. The months of November- February often offer the most visibility of animals as they bask in the sun. On any visit at any time of the year your going to see crocs and lots of them.
ARE RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED?
A reservation with an online booking is advisable for the guided tour as space is limited due to the nature of the experience. You may get on the tour as a walk-up but it is not guaranteed. The online reservation ensures your spot. Please use the ‘Book Now’ button on this page to make your tour selection.
HOW DO YOU WALK THROUGH THE PARK?
The facility is 100% on boardwalk. Miles of it. You can wear normal footwear here without an issue.
WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY RESERVATION?
Tours start on time. As a courtesy to our guests we try and make sure we are punctual with our start times. If you are going to be late to a given tour you will be added upon arrival to the current place of the tour. You won’t miss the entire thing!
